On May 12, 2026, DY was invited to participate in the SBIR × Taoyuan Smart Industry Academy Joint Promotion Seminar. Under the theme “From Film Processing to Materials Science: Accelerating R&D Transformation in Innovative, Environmentally Responsible Materials through SBIR,” we shared how government R&D resources can drive materials innovation and industrial upgrading.
As digitalization, decarbonization, and sustainable supply-chain requirements continue to intensify, small and medium-sized manufacturers need more than accumulated process experience. They must also build new competitiveness through R&D programs, digital tools, and carbon management. Drawing on years of plastic-film processing expertise, DY continues to develop functional materials, environmentally responsible materials, and process technologies. Resources such as SBIR help reduce the cost of R&D trial and error and accelerate commercialization.
The event also focused on AI adoption, net-zero greenhouse gas inventories based on the GHG Protocol, and government funding resources, helping enterprises establish a dual digital and low-carbon transformation path.
